Another day, another review! If you’ve read through a few of my Body Solid Home Gym Reviews you’ll see that I’m a fan of Body Solid Home Gyms. Body Solid generally manufactures and designs excellent residential grade home gyms. The question I’m posing today is “Does the Body Solid G5S uphold Body Solid’s reputation?” Read my take and review of the Body Solid G5S Home Gym.

Pros
There’s so much to like about the Body Solid G5S Home Gym I hardly know where to start. One of the most unique features that make the G5S Gym worth buying is the gas assisted seat adjustment. The gas powered seat adjustment system makes it easy to adjust your position to accommodate a varied workout routine and you’re gonna need it too! There’s so much to do on the G5S Home Gym. Users can shape, tone, and build arms, chest, back, and leg muscles with a single machine.

People who use the Body Solid G5S Home Gym tend to be impressed with the smooth and natural feel delivered by the lat bar, chest press, mid row, and leg developer stations. That’s thanks in large part to Body Solid’s top notch fluid team that works day and night to improve the biomechanical motion of their full line of Home Gyms. Users can perform a whopping 50+ exercises with the Body Solid G5S Home Gym! What makes the G5S even more attractive is the expandability of the G5S Home Gym. Users can choose to upgrade the weight stack by an extra 50 lbs. as workouts become easier or the user requires a more diverse workout.

Finally, the Body Solid G5S is a commercial rated home gym. Body Solid has gone to great lengths to ensure the longevity of their full line of Home Gyms and backs their commitment to quality with a full lifetime warranty!

Cons
There are no cons to mention in this review. The G5S is a well made machine.

Body Solid G2B Home Gym Review

Home Gym Review: Body Solid G2B Home Gym
Home Gym Rating: 4.5 stars out of 5 for the unique Bi-Angular Press Arm system that enables body motion that provides as much as 25% more muscle interaction during use and a fair price tag.
Price: $1300

One of the most popular questions about the G2B Home Gym is what is Bi-Angular motion, what is it supposed to do for me, and does it really work? Bi-Angular motion is a fancy shmancy term meaning a wide range of movement. When users are free to stretch their arms, they can work out more muscles, and spend less time working out without compromising the benefits of your workout. The BiAngular motion feature mimics the motions of a dumbbell workout eliminating the need for expensive, space consuming dumbbells. The Body Solid G2B also features an impressively small footprint compared to the amount of exercises users can perform. The G2B also features incredibly fluid motion thanks in part to the SmoothGlide bearing system that reduces unnecessary friction during workouts. Body Solid backs the G2B Home Gym with a lifetime warranty.

Weight Resistance:
The Body Solid G2B comes with 160 lbs. of selectorized weight stack resistance adjustable in 10 lb. increments; users may purchase an upgrade boosting weight reistance to 210 lbs.

Exercises / Stations:
Multi Hip Station: allows users to workout hips, thighs, and glutes.
Leg Developer Station: Built with Body Solid’s SmoothGlide Bearing system and provides biomechanically correct motion when working legs.
Perform a wide range of other exercises including: shoulder press, ab crunch, chest press, triceps extension, lat pulldown, kickback, leg adductor, and cable flys.

Frame Construction:
Built with a heavy duty 12 gauge steel frame that remains stable during workouts, powder coat finish to reduce damage from weather and scratches, 2,200 lb. tension test aircraft cables used for all pulleys, and 4.5” pulleys are built with fiberglass making them impact resistance and designed to last a lifetime.

Space Requirements:
Requires 71”L x 63”W of floor space and at least 75”L x 81”W of working space.

Body Solid G3S Home Gym Review

The Body Solid G3S is designed to provide users with the widest range of motion mechanically possible. Users can adjust the press arm and leg curl station to accommodate large or small body frames. The G3S Home Gym is ideal for building strong arms, chests, and legs. In terms of value, the G3S Home Gym receives mediocre marks. We can’t recommend the G3S in good faith when the G1S Home Gym offers similar performance for a couple hundred dollars less. If you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, we suggest checking out the Body Solid 1500s or the Body Solid G1S Home Gym.

If you're looking for value, look elsewhere. The Body Solid G3S is a great space saver but not a great money saver. What Users Are Saying
Most users are merely “satisfied” with the G3S. I haven’t come across too many owners raving about the G3S Home Gym.

Total Body Workout
Despite a lack of features, the G3S still provides enough exercises to give users a total body working, meaning you can work all the major muscle groups in your body including arms, chest, abs, legs, and back.

Space Saver
One of the redeeming qualities of the G3S is the relatively small area required to use the Body Solid G3S Home Gym. The foot print comes in at just under 7’ x 4’7”. If you live in an apartment or small house, the G3S is an ideal home gym.

Multi-Grip Press Arm
Users can target specific muscles and fine tune their workout by gripping any one of three grips on the press arm.

Resistance
Comes with 160 lbs. worth of adjustable selectorized resistance; 210 lb. and 410 lb. weight stack options available.

Frame Construction
Built with a solid 11 gauge steel frame

Adjustable Seat
Users can adjust the seat to suit their workout and body size; reduce injuries and maximize the effectiveness of your workout

Stations
Lat pulldowns; provides users with full range of motion and varying movements including diverging, bilateral, and converging. Leg developer station; with Body Solid’s SmoothGlide Bearing system designed for correct biomechanical motion.

Lumbar Support
Body Solid built the G3S Home Gym with high density DuraFirm pads that provide users with lumbar support, reducing injuries and enabling users to workout harder, longer.

Exercises
Perform shoulder press, chest press, bicep curl, lat pulldown, mid row, tricep extension, lateral delt raise, and leg curls.
